LESSONS IN WATCHFULNESS: A GENERATIVE WRITING WORKSHOP

Poets, it is time to wear your masks, even virtually.  Persona means mask in Latin and in this class we will take on the identity of someone and something else.  Persona poems exercise the imagination. The writer steps out of the confessional I in the comfortable and familiar home of their life into a space that someone else has designed.   Each attendee will receive an intro welcome packet with lots of great poems.  Also, we will gather items beforehand that you will be using as a prompt when you come to class.
